Gundam Wing is one of the last installments of the Gundam series. It is
about five brave teenagers that are brought together to protect the world with
their mobile suits called gundams. There are three main groups fighting to rule
the world. The Earth Sphere Alliance represents the Earth. The Organization
of the Zodiac (OZ) is led by Treize Khushrenada, but he later resignes and joins
the Romefeller Foundation Relena Darlian becomes the leader of the Earth
Sphere Alliance after her father is assasinated by one of OZ's operatives. The
Earth Shere Alliance is constantly at war with OZ, and OZ eventually takes
over the Alliance. In the midst of all these problems, the five Gundam pilots,
Heero Yuy, Duo Maxwell, Quatre Baba, Trowa Barton, and Wufei Chang, are united
to protect the Earth and the space colonies from OZ and the Romefeller Foundation.
Zechs Merquise is one of the main commanders of OZ. Later in the series,
many other things happen that affect the plot. At one point, some of the
gundams are rebuilt, and White Fang, a terrorist group is formed.
I think that just about any anime fan would like Gundam Wing, or any of the
Gundam series. It is very action-packed, and has a great story.
